Award winning novelist and nonfiction writer, Hope Tarr is the author of fifteen contemporary and historical novels for multiple publishers. Her first novella, Tomorrow’s Destiny in A HARLEQUIN CHRISTMAS CAROL released

Hope is a co-founder of Lady Jane’s Salon, New York City’s first and only monthly reading series for romance fiction. Since the Salon’s launch in February 2009, it and Hope have been featured in Time Out New York and The New York Post.
Hope is also a prolific nonfiction author who has written numerous articles on women’s health and wellness, fashion and fitness, relationships, and travel. Her co-authored feature article for Baltimore Magazine, “The Top Doctors: 179 Physicians who may one day save your life” received The Society for Professional Journalists coveted First Place Public Service Award. She is also the editor and principal contributing writer for two special issues of Baltimore Magazine including Maryland Made Easy, a comprehensive statewide tourism and relocation guide.
Most recently on the domestic travel front, Hope co-developed Beer Gardens NYC the first iPhone App for beer gardens in New York City, indeed anywhere in the US. The App, available for download at the iTunes Store, has received coverage in The New York Times Diners Journal, New York Magazine, Gothamist, and CrunchGear. Appolicious named Beer Gardens NYC one of six “Best iPhone Apps for New York City” (October 2010).
Hope holds a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology and a Ph.D. in Education, both from The Catholic University of America. She lives in Manhattan and enjoys writing and blogging about her Big City adventures both at home and abroad.
